Welcome to GreenSportsBlog 2.0!

0

The first redesign in GSB’s six year existence gives the site a new look and feel.

The launch of GreenSportsBlog 2.0 is just the start of what will be a season of exciting changes for our readers.

One thing that will not change is our commitment to be your source for news and insightful commentary from the increasingly crowded intersection of Green & Sports. Given our “Mike Trout problem” — according to the 2018 IPCC report, humanity has until 2030¹, or the length of the Anaheim Angels star outfielder’s contract extension, to decarbonize by 45 percent to avoid the worst impacts of climate change — GreenSportsBlog 2.0 will sharpen our focus on how the sports world engages on the climate change fight — or not.

Let us know what you think about our new features as we roll them out throughout the fall. Thank you for sharing GSB 2.0 and for your continued support of GreenSportsBlog.

¹ According to an article in Thursday’s BBC News, our window of opportunity is much tighter than 12 months.
