  • Ex-NFL player Ovie Mughelli, an early eco-athlete, announced on Super Bowl 50 Eve he is joining NextGen Climate, which “acts politically to prevent climate disaster and promote prosperity for all Americans,” and Green For All, a great organization that aims “to build an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty,” to push the the United States to transition to more than 50% clean energy by 2030, promoted via the #50By30 hashtag. I need to talk to Ovie Mughelli!   3. Thanks MRT250! I loved the video, too–and saw it on the air on the SF ABC affiliate during their 11 PM newscast. How cool was THAT?!? Yes, go Broncos–although I was troubled to hear that Peyton Manning has endorsed JEB! during last night’s GOP debate in NH. Peyton endorsing a climate skeptic? Not good. Could be fodder for a future GSB column. But, for today, I’ll still root for him. Go J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!
