She is also a sustainable-sports futurist of sorts, envisioning ways that sports might best deal with environmental crises like climate change before they become acute.

That is why we were happy to talk with Dr. Orr about what the world would like if sports dealt with climate change in the same way it is dealing with the coronavirus.
